Making a couple of changes on your electric trolling motor can make your day more efficient and productive. By adding a balance hub and an aluminum prop to my electric trolling motor I get greater battery life. depending on wave conditions and number of people in my boat I can get 4 to 6 hours trolling at 1.5 mph and I believe that of that efficiency it’s due to the changes I made.
