Thailand's Koh Panyee (Ko Pnayi) is a floating community on the Andaman Sea. Around 200 years ago, three fisherman from Java established this floating community. At now, Koh Panyee's floating hamlet is inhabited by more than a thousand people and has room for 400 households. Koh Panyee village is also sometimes referred to as a Muslim Village or Muslim village because all of its population practice Islam. Since its founding, Koh Panyee village has advanced significantly. The Koh Panyee floating village currently has a number of public amenities, including hospitals, schools, fresh water wells, stores, and so forth. The village of Koh Panyee also features a floating football field, which is even more intriguing.
