Jump-Turns: Skiing Progression

Since I've been recently skiing a lot of things that have been far out of my comfort zone, I decided to use this weekend trip up at Northstar to really start practicing "Jump-Turns". Jump-Turns are a special kind of turn that's really as simple as it sounds: you jump and turn in midair. This technique seems very impractical and a waste of energy. However, on steeper gradients where turning regularly is very difficult and can result in falls, (IE: Lower Chamonix, Hell's Delight, and The "Y" which I recently did and fell on 2/3 of them) jump-turns are essential. So I decided to start on a steeper groomer and then towards the end of the day, I tried a tight tree chute.
