Can the Same Video be Used on Many Sites?

I heard that each one of the platforms, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram, that they want fresh new content, so is there any penalty for putting the same video on all these different sites?

There is no penalty, but you will have better results if you actually physically upload the same video to each site as opposed to using, Hootsuite or Later or software like that does it for you. But using that same video, there's no problem with that. So I record the video and it's on my computer. I upload it to LinkedIn manually. I upload it to YouTube and all those different places.
I would imagine we want to put content in the description piece.
