Nancy Pelosi declares she will not be seeking reelection to Democratic leadership in next congress

As Democrats rush to pass bills before the GOP takes the House, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has just announced her decision on whether or not she will run for House leadership in 2023. Pelosi said she will step down from Democratic leadership in the next congress.

In her own words, "For everything, there is a season...with great confidence in our caucus, I will not seek re-election to Democratic leadership in the next Congress."
