We started the week with a bang and we go out today to the weekend with another bang... we started with Johnny Winter on Monday and end up with his brother, Edgar, today along with Jeff Lynne and his reconstituted ELO. So the Segue City Special rolls out in a blaze of glory and we ride out of the studio to points beach as the Mayor sets up shop in the studio for the weekend. Now you have a good weekend too.

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
