Keeping it Real: Future of Web3 Governance, the ENS airdrop

Cami and Robin are joined by Real Vision's Ash Bennington to focus on the massive $500M+ ENS airdrop and what it all means for users. ENS (i.e., Ethereum Name Service) is the Web 3.0 version of domain names, and owning an Ethereum address is like owning a piece of real estate on the web. $ENS rewarded early users through a token airdrop—some as large as five figures USD. Because ENS is a governance token, it also encourages users to manage the protocol. We don't see this type of move in traditional finance, and users get to benefit directly from the growth of protocols in Web 3.0. We also discuss NFT.NYC, communities, douchebaggery, identity virtualization, and more.
