The Impact of Pharma: Has It Really Made Society Healthier?

A small company in the UK used WHO, World Factbook, and World Lung Association data to map out the healthiest and unhealthiest nations in the world.

And what they found is that Western nations are typically less healthy than less-developed nations, such as those in mid-Africa.

Why?

Because, as Siddhartha Sengupta explains, "They have been pumped with pharmaceutical medication for years now, decades, and maybe centuries."

"They [less-developed nations] don't get into mainstream pharmaceutical medications, and that's why they are far healthier. They don't want you to know that."
