HIPS Dissolving Filament Experiment 1
3
Got some HIPS from Toybuilderlabs.com. Starting off easy and seeing what I learn playing with 3D printing with HIPS as a disolvable filament.
Conclusion: HIPS dissolves completely in Limoline-D, a orange peel extract solution for cleaning that can be slightly harder to get ahold of than, say, acetone. It Does disolve very well in a day, but it clouds the Limoline, so don't go using the whole container like I did.
Stay tuned for experiment 2!
