Congress gets Crypto'ed feat. SBFs laces, MongooseCoin and Ritchie's Ping Pong

8th December Maxine Waters convened a session of congress to hear from CEO's of major cryptocurrency companies. The session was entitled Digital Assets and the Future of Finance: Understanding the Challenges and Benefits of Financial Innovation in the United States.

It was a chance for congress to gain greater understanding of cryptocurrencies, stablecoins and the general threats or otherwise posed by them as well as trying to understand how to regulate them. The six invited participants were:

Jeremy Allaire, CEO, Circle
Sam Bankman-Fried, CEO, FTX
Brian Brooks, CEO, Bitfury
Chad Cascarilla, CEO, Paxos
Denelle Dixon, CEO, Stellar Development Foundation
Alesia Haas, CEO, Coinbase Inc., and CFO, Coinbase Global Inc.

Highlights include Brad Sherman's MongooseCoin and Sam Bankman-Fried's shoelaces.
