The History of the Cine Capri Theater

The original Cine Capri Theater stood at the corner of 24th Street and Camelback Roads in Phoenix, Arizona, from 1976 to 1998. For those who grew up in Phoenix, the Cine Capri was where many had their first date, or where they stood in line for hours to see blockbuster hits. It was certainly that for me, but it was also a whole lot more.
