Two effects from one extruder, Starter Pokemon 3D Prints

In this video I share my explorations trying to make dual color prints from a single nozzle by varying the settings per-model. In Charmander (corrected) I change the flow rate, with Bulbasaur I change layer heights, and Squirtle I vary the speed to achieve velocity painting. Will any of these changes make any difference?
