Homemade Calcium Supplement from Egg Shells | Granny's Kitchen Recipes

This is a recipe I learnt from my grandmother. Don't waste egg shells, instead make your own homemade calcium supplement from egg shells.

HOMEMADE CALCIUM SUPPLEMENT FROM EGG SHELLS:

INGREDIENTS:

Organic free range egg shells
Granulated sugar
Vanilla icing sugar

DIRECTIONS:

Wash and boil the egg shells, then cool down and allow to dry. Add the eggs in a food processor, with the granulated sugar and vanilla icing sugar. The quantity of sugar depends on the quantity of egg shells. The mix when it's finished, it needs to be sweet, otherwise you won't like the taste. You can also use coffee grinder, but I don't have one, so I used the processor instead.
It will last in a dry dark place in a sealed container for a few months.
You should take 1 teaspoon per week.
