Divers discover debris from space shuttle ‘Challenger’ off Florida coast

Divers from a documentary crew looking for the wreckage of a World War II aircraft off the coast of Florida have found more than they bargained for. The operation on May 22, 2022, instead uncovered a 20-foot (6.1 metres) section of the space shuttle 'Challenger', which exploded and broke apart soon after launch in 1986. Nasa has confirmed that the piece belonged to the 'Challenger'.
