Multistate legal challenges loom large over Trump's 2024 presidential campaign

Former president Donald Trump officially announced his intent to run for president once again in 2024, but going forward, the campaign isn't the only thing Mr. Trump will have on his plate. He faces a slew of legal challenges surrounding his conduct during and after the 2020 election, including the classified documents recovered from Mar A Lago, issues surrounding financial and tax fraud, lawsuits being brought by individuals, and ongoing suspicions about his actions regarding the January 6th riot at the Capitol.
