Testing the Angle of Attack Indicator for Aspen Avionics’s Evolution Displays – AINtv

Aspen Avionics has added an angle of attack indicator to its Evolution primary flight and multifunction displays with a software upgrade. The AOA is intended to provide another safety tool for the pilot, and can be especially useful in reducing mishaps during approach turns. AIN’s Matt Thurber recently tested the new Evolution AOA functionality during a flight in the company’s Cirrus SR22.
