OK so winter is setting in, it snowed all day today. My sleep pattern is now putting my wakeup time around sunset so hopefully can continue shifting this by 30 minutes to an hour a day so I get some daylight again soon. The lake felt ok today actually I think doing a little warmup exercises before going in makes this a pleasant experience rather than something to get out of the way. Water temp was still around 49f or 9.5c. Water temperature is dropping slowly day day by day. It is still warm for this time of year average temp might be 7.5c or 45f or something but we had warmer than usually temps here in November. Snow is now on the ground... I think I may bring slippers next time as standing on snow after getting out of the water is the least pleasant part of this for my baby toes. Still oddly ok, I was expecting worse but this is pretty nice around freezing airtemps the body is nicely numbed so you cant even really feel the cold air, and the sensation of warmth is great after getting a couple layer on after getting out.

No cold shock today at all, the warmup exercises really helps.

Starting to prep to can my beets. Experiementing with cabbage at cold freeze temps covered in plastic will check on them next daylight.. GAREDENING is DONE for the year outdoors.. winter is here.
