INGREDIENTS :

1kg stewing beef chunks ( 2.2 lbs )
400 grams canned cannellini beans ( 14.1 oz )
400 grams chopped tomatoes in juice ( 14.1 oz )
600 ml beef stock ( 20.2 fl oz )
1 chopped onion
2 minced garlic cloves
2 sliced red peppers
1 tablespoon treacle ( 18 grams )
1 tablespoon plain flour ( 7.8 grams )
1 teaspoon cumin ( 2.5 grams )
1/4 teaspoon salt ( 0.57 grams )
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper ( 0.58 grams )
2 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil ( 35.3 grams )
Sour cream

INSTRUCTIONS :

.in large pan / wok on medium to high heat add 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
.once heated add 1/2 stewing beef & cook for 5 to 10 minutes until brown
.set aside & repeat process until all beef is browned
.in same pan / wok on medium heat add 1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil
.once heated add 1 chopped onion, 2 minced garlic, cook for 3 to 4 minutes
.add browned beef, 1 tablespoon plain flour, stir well & cook for 1 minute
.add 1 tablespoon treacle, 400 grams chopped tomatoes in juice
add 2 sliced red peppers, 400 grams canned cannellini beans
.add 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
.add 1 teaspoon cumin, 600 ml beef stock, mix well & bring to boil
.reduce to low heat, cover with lid & simmer for 90 minutes, Stirring occasionally
.serve with sour cream
