Pence on whether he'd vote for Trump in 2024: "There might be somebody else I'd prefer more."

Well Pence was thinking of himself when he replied to that question. I'm really wondering how does he feel after the announcement Trump made yesterday. He really thought he would be an option for the 2024 elections, didn't he?
