The FBI Director Chris Wray has said the use of Chinese-owned app TikTok in the US raises national security concerns. Wray told US lawmakers the Chinese government could use TikTok to control data collection of millions of users, control the recommendation algorithm or control software on millions of devices. A TikTok spokesperson said reasonable national security concerns will be satisfied.
