Swallow (Collocalia vestita) is a bird with tapered wings, long tail, black color with brown underside. Swallows live on beaches and residential areas, inhabiting caves or large spaces, such as empty ridges. Swallows cannot perch because they have very short legs so they rarely stand on the ground but can stick to walls or roofs. Able to fly in the dark with the help of echolocation. Nests in groups with nests made of saliva. Many people traffic these nests to make soup or medicinal ingredients.[1]

The habitat or collection of swiftlet communities is only found in Southeast Asia. Swallows are often found in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia and Laos. Swallows are not found in European countries, America, or on the African continent. This is due to the breeding of swiftlets in areas with tropical climates with high rainfall. Because it affects the element of humidity as a breeding factor for species habitat or populations of swallows.
