This is What an OLD GROWTH FOREST in the Northeast Looks Like — Ep. 026

After finding out we had a 200+ year old white oak in our forest (see this episode: https://youtu.be/S9C4BFrjspQ), we wanted to envision what our forest could have looked like (and hopefully WILL look like one day) if we let it grow old.

By chance there is a 32-acre old growth remnant forest that isn't too far from the homestead, so we met up with Horticulture Professor Marvin Pritts to take a walk in a very, very old wood. Wait to be dazzled in all its glory!
