After doing more walk-throughs in our woods, we realized that there's a lot more challenges with it than we had originally anticipated—from intense deer browse to invasive species to the die out of whole species of trees. The last year, we started to put together a 200-year plan that we hope will give the forest a fighting chance. We're not sure how we'll end up completing our goals in the short time we have here on earth, but we'll sure as hell try!
