REFORESTATION BEST PRACTICES and TECHNIQUES from Mt. Cuba Center — Ep. 089

As we embark on our reforestation and enrichment planting projects here at Flock, we wanted to see what best practices others in the greater region are doing. Mt. Cuba Center—based out of Delaware—has been a leading research center on natural areas and are in the process of planting a 12-acre reforestation site for which they’ll be monitoring and analyzing progress for 100 years. Though the project only kicked off in 2015, there are already some great takeaways from their research.
