In the previous video here on Flock, we had a delightful tour of Coldwater Pond Nursery's collection of rare ornamental trees and shrubs. Instead of bringing in nursery stock, Ted Hildebrandt and team actually graft and grow out all of their plants. In fact, they are one of the few grafting nurseries left on the east coast.

Ted was kind enough to share one of their grafting techniques—even though grafting takes place during the winter months.
