Would you pay $450 million USD for a Painting ? 🖼️ ?

I was lucky enough to witness history at @christiesinc in 2017 as a gallery assistant when the Leonardo da Vinci sold for a record price! The painting allegedly is of the last paintings from the maestro Leonardo. It depicts Jesus “Salvator Mundi” in majesty portrait profile with commanding precision. Although the work has faced academic criticism regarding its true authenticity, the work exceeded new levels of fandom when the art world and celebrities from Leonardo DiCaprio, Jay Z, etc. expressed interest. Incredibly, the painting emerged from obscurity in 2005 and sold for a several thousand dollars at a random Louisiana sale and eventually ended with subsequent a $450 million dollars.
