Donald Trump Asks US Court of Appeals to Reopen His Lawsuit on Twitter

Former US president Donald Trump has asked an appeals court to reopen his lawsuit against Twitter that had suspended Trump permanently from the social platform after his supporters attacked the US Capitol in 2021. Lawyers for Trump told the US Court of Appeals that the ban amounted to "blatant partisan censorship" and "contravenes First Amendment principles that are deeply rooted in American history and law."
