DOOMWATCH 1972 - The waters surrounding a British island become contaminated by chemical dumping creating an ecological nightmare. Residents of the island who survive on the fish caught in these waters gradually become deformed and exhibit excessively violent behavior. The Doomwatch Team of scientists and technical specialists is sent in to investigate.

Based upon the popular British BBC TV Series of the early 1970s, this is a film adaptation produced after the series had its TV run. It includes popular British film stars Judy Geeson, Ian Bannen & guest star George Sanders. As usual with British Sci-Fi, it’s a literate and well-conceived plot, admirably presented.
