Naval drone fleet to counter Russian missiles launched from warships on the Black Sea

Ukraine is creating the world's first naval drone fleet. Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the fundraising for the production of weapons with the help of the UNITED24 initiative. The cost of one drone, according to the fundraising platform, is about 10 million hryvnia (almost USD 271 thousand). Kyiv plans to accumulate funds for the creation of 100 units of equipment. Among other things, naval drones can participate in long- and short-range reconnaissance, escort commercial ships and correct missile strikes.
