CRM First Step
What would be a good first step for someone who's never used automation, to start getting into the habit of using it, but then also just getting it set up?
Very good question. You are full of good questions today.
The very first step in the most important part, the heart, and soul of an automation system, the platform that we're talking about is going to be that list of people. You may have your list in several places. It's probably your email contacts. You could have spreadsheets, multiple spreadsheets of people you've met places. They're in your phone, you can pull all of them together in one place and put them in your CRM and you can eliminate duplicates at the same time. You can tag them at that time
for where they came from and how you met them. So they'll come right into your CRM with a label already. So that's a very good first place to start,
get all your contacts in the same place. When you think about what you want to automate. I recommend two places to start getting new leads pulling people in, new fresh eyes on your product. You can automate that process. Once someone buys something from you, it's very smart to have a new customer welcome series of emails that go out. In the systems that have the telephone included, you can send text messages as well automatically. So you want them to know when they bought something where their money went, say, yep. Okay. You bought it. Thank you.
It went through. Here's your product. You want all that set up before they buy something. So they feel safe spending more money with you. What would be a good first step for someone who's never used automation, to start getting into the habit of using it, but then also just getting it set up?
