Almost nine months have passed since the introduction of the first sanctions package against Russian banks. According to the ex-head of the National Bank of Ukraine department, Vitalii Vavryshchuk, the sanctions not only blocked all available channels for attracting foreign capital and technology, but also set the Russian financial system back many years.
