Life is short but life is also long. if you think about it, life is long because there are so many moments that happen and we need to be present for them. if you're not present for then you're missing out on a lot of what life has to offer. but it's also short because we don't know how much time we have left.
People who struggle with emotional and mental health issues often neglect their own needs and struggles. This can impact the people around them, as well as their own personal wellbeing. It is important to remember that self-care is not selfish, but necessary to keep going.
Take care of yourself so you can continue being there for the people who matter most in your life.
It's easy to lose track of what's going on in the present moment when you're busy. This list is a reminder of the things you should always remember, whether it's while doing anything, or just in your day-to-day life. Remember your loved ones. If you're busy, it's easy to forget the people who love you. Whether it's a birthday, an anniversary, or just because they need a little extra encouragement today, be sure to keep them close on your mind's eye. Remember that the darkness is only temporary. Just as the sun rises and sets every day and night, so too will life always go on in one form or another: good times and bad times; happiness and sadness.
Hold on to the things that make you happy and remember that all good things will eventually have their ending. Remember to take time for yourself. Whether it's listening to a favorite song, taking time with your partner, or just doing something for yourself (like reading), don't neglect your own needs. Take care of yourself so you can continue being there for the people who matter most in your life. Remember others who are going through a tough time right now too.
