Urs festival takes place in New Delhi

Thousands of locals and pilgrims participated in the 719th traditional Urs festival in New Delhi. The devotees from India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh offered their prayers, sang religious songs, carried flowers and distributed and received food. The event is the death anniversary of Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia, one of the most respected Muslim Sufi saints of the subcontinent.
