In 2006, Drake entered the music industry with the release of his debut mixtape, Room for improvement. The mixtape featuring Trey Songz, Lupe Fiasco and Frank Dukes, only sold about six thousand copies. The minimal sales Drake a whopping $304.04 in royalties. With his second mixtape being more successful than the first, Drake immediately started work on a third mixtape which he ended up releasing in 2009.
