Come O Gentle Saviour

Hello my friends. 2020 is here, and this is the first video for the new year. It features a song from my latest CD, "By Grace Alone", called "Come O Gentle Saviour Carry Me". In making this video, I used the poem "Footprints In The Sand" at the very end, because of how well it fit the theme of the song. I was surprised to see that there are several versions of this poem on the internet, some saying author unknown, and others being claimed by different authors. Not knowing who to give credit to for this version, I chose author unknown.Show more

Another new year is upon us, and for many, it has not been a happy one. Losing friends and loved ones is always difficult, no matter what the time of year, and I don't know how those who do not believe in the gospel of the kingdom of God, through Jesus Christ, can cope during these difficult times.

Like most of you, I have gone through many difficult trials during my 68 years on this earth, and I have to say that I have experienced first hand the power of God in my life. Without Christ, I would be hopeless. But praise God, that my hope is secure, because of Calvary, and what Jesus did for you and me on the cross. I hope that those who take the time to watch this, will be blessed by what they see and hear.
