WATCH: SAPS Western Cape Demostrate Manoeuvers During a Mock Protest

SAPS WESTERN CAPE SAFER FESTIVE SEASON LAUNCH: WESTERN CAPE: The SAPS in the Western Cape launched the Safer Festive Season programme on Tuesday, 15 November 2022. The national Safer Festive Season Operations launch was held on Thursday 3 November at the University of Venda in Thohoyandou, Limpopo. This year’s Safer Festive Season Operations are being held under the theme of More boots on the ground towards enhanced police visibility. The launch ushered in a heightened period of police visibility effective immediately up to and including 31 January 2023. The Western Cape Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Thembisile Patekile, the SAPS management together with the Minister of Police General Bheki Cele was in attendance at the event.Ayanda Ndamane,Phando Jikelo/African News Agency (ANA)
