In 2007, a planet was found 20 light-years away from earth which is named Gliese 581c. The planet is super-earth because it is 10 times larger than Earth.
Gliese 581c is tidally locked to its sun which makes its one-half inferno and the other half freezing.
The best part is that between its 2 extremes, there is a narrow strip of land which can support alien life. in 2008 NASA send a radio signal to Gliese 581c and it will reach the planet by 2029.
