It isn't just a depressed region. It may sound cruel, but there's some people there [in Donbass] who should just be killed'. These are words of Ukrainian journalist about the Russian-speaking people of Ukraine. To escalate the Donbass conflict Kiev regime was actively seeding hatred against Russian-speaking people.

A former Ukrainian Security Service officer Vasily Prozorov says: 'Public sentiment rapidly shifted to the opinion that: 'there's nothing to discuss with the people of Donetsk and Lugansk regions. They're dust... dirt'. The terms 'Lug-condoms' and 'Down-basses' were coined as early as 2014'.
