Blaming Trump for this underwhelming performance isn't going to help anyone, it will only alienate the base. If the establishment doesn't want to get out of the way, there are several people more than willing to see them out and take their seat.

Senator Josh Hawley made the bold statement that "The old party is dead. Time to bury it and build something new." Couldn't agree any more. The leadership vote in the Senate is supposed to happen tomorrow, with several elections still actively take place LOL. Multiple Senators have called for postponing the vote, so maybe it happens tomorrow, maybe it doesn't.

The changes don't stop there. The House finds itself in a similar position. The majority party isn't as clear as you would think, 6 DAYS AFTER THE ELECTION, so for Kevin McCarthy to think he will be Speaker of the House after a squeaker victory is woefully arrogant. Representative Andy Biggs might be challenging the establishment hack, when the vote happens.

But these changes don't amount to much of the Party itself doesn't change. Lee Zeldin, who made a valiant effort in New York to dethrone the Democrat Party, appears to be exploring a position as the RNC Chairman. Ronna Romney McDaniel hasn't said if she would seek reelection, but she is terrible and should be replaced regardless.

After years of it being obvious, the GOP needs new leadership and thanks to whatever happened this go round, it might be getting it!
