Movie by Kazakh filmmaker wins award at Venice Film Festival

The movie by Kazakh filmmaker Adilkhan Yerzhanov ‘Goliath’ won a prize at the Venice International Film Festival. This is a special award from the independent critics of Italy. In turn, Best Actors award was given to Berik Aitzhanov and Daniyar Alshinov starred in the movie. ‘Goliath’ was filmed in the noir genre and included in the Orizzonti Extra competition program of the 79th Venice International Film Festival back in July. This group includes the films that demonstrated the top trends in world cinema.
