Plants have natural carcinogens

Plants have natural carcinogens in them, and we've known since 1989 from the work of UC Berkeley professor Bruce Ames that there are far more naturally occurring toxins and carcinogens than the pesticides that are sprayed on industrially. Furthermore, the natural carcinogens are 500 times more likely to cause cancer than the pesticides sprayed on them.
