How to Process Coturnix Quail for Meat

Disclaimer: if you are uncomfortable with seeing animals processed for meat, this video is obviously not for you.

This is how I process our coturnix quail for meat, certainly not the only way to do it but this is how we do it.
Typically I try to process excess males at 7 weeks old, and hens when they age past laying.
If you have any questions, please ask. I am not an expert, I’ve just been processing quail for meat for our family for a few years now.
Materials needed: live quail, buckets, sharp and strong scissors, knife, and a baking tray.
