Get out of your own way!
Just do it: the first step is the hardest, so keep on walking because the steps gets more familiar and easier to figure out and you can see how far you’ve gone.

You’re closed minded: We all have our own way of doing things—that's what makes us unique and special.

Let go of negative thinking. When you start thinking about how hard it will be and how much work there is left to do, then it's going to be hard for you to move forward with confidence.
“I’ll probably just fail again.”
“I waited too long/wasted too much time.”

Instead of worrying about the things that could go wrong or how long it will take for results, focus on what can go right!

Confront your thoughts:
a. What am I afraid will happen if I do this?
b. What in my past has made me afraid to put myself out there?
c. Why do I think I will fail?

Forgive yourself. Don’t beat yourself if you’re dragging your feet.
Acknowledge you have strengths.
Don’t give yourself a pass: It’s great to forgive yourself for slip-ups. But, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t hold yourself accountable and correct the path
Find what you’re really good and want to do and focus on that one thing. Don’t get yourself become distracted with too many things
