Chrissie Mayr UPDATES us on Aaron Judge BREAKING Roger Maris' HomeRun Record! Yankee & MLB Talk!

There have been many great baseball home run hitters... and many that were aided by substances. Chrissie Mayr was able to name a couple of them!

Aaron Judge, the homegrown power hitter on the New York Yankees and playing Centerfield has reached 51 homeruns, putting him on pace with Roger Maris in 1961 who recorded 61. Maris who was coming off an MVP season and playing Right Field at the time, broke Babe Ruth's 1927 record this year. Could Judge be on his way to continuing New York Yankee dominance as far as American League Homerun records go?

1998 infamously saw both Mark McGwire of the St Louis Cardinals and Sammy Sosa of the Chicago Cubs SHATTER Maris' Major League record with 70 and 66 homeruns respectively. Just a couple years later in 2001, Barry Bonds of the San Francisco Giants broke out with 73 of his own. The debate continues on who the true record holder is, and whether those homeruns of McGwire, Sosa, and Bonds should count toward the record, seeing that performance enhancing drugs were used.
