"HEALTH CARE" SUCKS, So This Town Started a FREE, INTEGRATIVE MEDICAL & HERBAL Clinic — Ep. 132

We all know that health care (some say "disease care") needs major reform. Even as a healthy adult—the health care costs in this country are extraordinarily expensive and the medical care is not always up to people's needs and expectations. In 2006, Paul Glover and other interested members of the Ithaca community got together to come up with a community-based healthcare program that would provide integrative medicine to those who need it the most. Now 16 years later, the Ithaca Health Alliance formed the Ithaca Free Clinic, which features conventional and herbal medicines and other alternative practices—for free.

We speak with herbal practioner, 7Song, about the Ithaca Free Clinic and his role in shaping it.
