We are told by Jesus in Matthew 7:1 and Luke 6:37 to "judge not lest you be judged". Like anything else, what we give we receive, pressed down and shaken together. Great if it's love, grace, forgiveness, money... but not so much if we are judging and condemning others (or ourselves).

Judge not lest you be judged, give the grace now you once begrudged;
Leave behind your precious pride, and let love now reign inside.
Judge, jury and executioner, sitting yourself on the throne.
Passing judgment upon another, a sorrowful seed you have sown.

Are you more truth or grace?
