Scot Plays #8 // Recording Guitars For "Anubis"

Welcome to Scot Plays #8, Recording Guitars for "Anubis"! I've started recording a new album which I'm going to call "Valley Of The Kings", as it's based on the kings, gods, religion and culture of ancient Egypt, and this is the third track to be worked on from this new album. I've got one more written that I'll be recording guitars for soon, and I'll bring you that video, too!

Anubis is the longest song written for Valley Of The Kings (at least so far), coming in at 8:22! The main theme repeats at times within the track on different instruments and with different treatments. In this video, I'll show you a few of the rhythm parts, explain some of my recording process and end up with the main buildout theme. I hope you enjoy Scot Plays #8!
