Hey and welcome! We are Douglas and Keri! In May of 2022 we quit our jobs and sold our home in Denver, Colorado to move to our off grid homestead property in the high desert of Cochise County, Arizona. Follow along with us as we build our homestead from the ground up!

We finally got to the end of clearing our fence line and getting T posts set….woohoo!!! Doug celebrated by blowing off a little steam with his “Judge” LOL

We are also sharing with you about how the smaller washes on our property work together to form bigger and bigger washes as they get lower on the property. Why does this matter so much? Well, right now it’s mainly because the BIG wash at the bottom of our property also crosses the road up to our driveway. It has washed out in a way that we can still get our car through, but not our RV. So, what that means for us right now is holding off on getting the RV out onto the property. We are pretty bummed, but are trying to be patient.
