Crowd Takes Down Gunman Who Tried to Shoot Argentina’s Vice President: Reports

An assassination attempt was made on the vice president of Argentina, according to reports. It happened outside the home of Vice President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner in Buenos Aires. Argentina’s president said a man in the crowd pointed a firearm at Fernandez de Kirchner’s head and pulled the trigger, but the gun did not fire. She was not harmed.
