Basics 28 Remarriage and Basics 29 Coping with Suffering

We're going to finish up Divine Institution #2: Remarriage tomorrow, and explain some of what Paul said in 1 Cor 7! Is remarriage an option for a believer? Many times we don't understand words in Scripture until we understand the historical context. People who don't study carefully wrest the words out of their historical context and come up with their own "invented theology." They often act like they are super-spiritual and that their interpretation is OBVIOUS. I would not waste my time throwing pearls to them. They are hardened and arrogant. We have to study to show ourselves approved unto God, and that means seeking to understand the words in their historical context!

I hope these two lessons are helpful, closing out DI#2; Marriage and moving into Suffering and how to cope with suffering biblically, basic truths in the Christian life.
